Price to Service Important guidelines for determining consistency between carpet cleaning services |
Single Process
The single process involves hot water extraction. Water may or may not contain a cleaning chemical. Depending on company, either a truck-mount or portable cleaning unit could be used. Many companies use this process as a "snare" tactic, meaning that they use this as an advertising ploy thereby enticing the customer with an artificially low price. Once inside your home, they use bait-and-switch techniques to inflate the cost to the dual process method. Dual Process This process involves pre-conditioning agent applied to the carpet first. After allowing chemical to dwell for about ten minutes or so, it is then extracted with a truck-mount cleaning system with high temperature steam heat and powerful extraction vacuum leaving the carpet clean and relatively dry. If the customer is not willing to pay the more expensive price of dual process, the Single Process along with poor workmanship will result in an unclean carpet unhealthful for your family.
